Chaos Theory
Ordered Chaos I always think of punk rock music when I think of ordered chaos. This can apply to all sorts of musical genres, but the basic concept is the same. Each musician is skilled and knows classical theories, buy each player may elaborate on their own, take the music in a different direction and then when it is all played together, layered on top of each other musical instrument it harmonizes well and begins to take a life of its own. And instead of hearing four different tones and rhythms it harmonizes and becomes one. This is why I love going to the symphony too--it makes my heart feel good.

The complex design that is simply repetition of a simple design can increase surface area and expand boundaries all while remaining quite small.
